Description
This multi-size Lace maker is a very practical cutting tool if you want to make your own strips and laces on leathers up to 2 mm thick.
The notches on the black handle offer 6 different cut sizes: 2 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.2 mm, 4 mm, 4.8 mm and 5.6 mm.
To position a new blade, or to choose a notch of different thickness, use the spring system on the handle. (Pull the upper spring up before pulling the lower one down).
This tool should be used with stainless steel replacement blades: IVA-018.
Steps to use :
- Draw a circle in the middle of your leather using a compass (3 or 4 cm in diameter) and cut it out
- Slide your shoelace cutter into the newly obtained hole Using a cutter, start by pre-trimming a tiny piece of shoelace on the edge of the hole
- It is this start of lace that comes to slip into the notch of your choice
- Using a regular rotary movement, cut your leather by continuing to hold your lace through the notch.
We advise you to use this tool on a secure work plan, without forgetting to keep out of reach of children.
