This Stainless Steel Japanese Style Skiving Knife is an ideal cutting tool to remove material from leathers that are too thick. Its wooden handle offers you an excellent grip and makes it easier to steer when you pass through the leather.
This knife has a stainless steel blade that reaches you already sharpened. However, to maintain its good cutting quality, we recommend regular maintenance with our Polishing Compounds.
We advise you to practice on pieces or scraps of leather, before tackling a larger project.
