Description

The reversed diamond iron are used to mark stitching points on leather. This is the same tool as the classic diamond iron, but they are symmetrical (see image).

The iron do not have a striking direction, the points are always inclined to the same side.
You can use them to have mirrored points on your creations, as for example in the photo of the belt.
Also to make alterations or connections on items sewn using a professional machine.

The tips of the irons are small blades that have been designed by hand, they need to be well sharpened and therefore well maintained to extend their lifespan.

It is not recommended to pierce leather directly with the iron, unless it is very thin.

We also recommend using one of our cutting supports and a nylon, polymer or wood mallet to avoid damaging the tools when you hit them.

The word diamond corresponds to the shape of the tip.
